Eat Here Now

Local Farms, Food & Families!

EAT HERE NOW, Victoria’s third annual Harvest Fest, will showcase local farmers, processors, and small businesses who are contributing to food security in our region, and encourage Victoria citizens to shop locally and make the connection to where their food comes from. This is a FREE, family-friendly event with an interactive kids area, “toonie-a-taste” food samplings from some of the region’s top restaurants plus tea and coffee sampling station. Wayward School is also hosting a speaker series called ”FoodShed: a Food Sovereignty Speakers Series” as part of their ongoing Town Council.
What: Eat Here Now Local Food Harvest Festival - FREE, family-friendly festival featuring some of the best farmers, fishers, butchers, bakers, processors, brewers, coffee roasters and restaurants in the region.
When/Where: 11am – 3pm, September 9th, Market Square, Inner Courtyard, Victoria
The Victoria Downtown Public Market Society is organizing this event and all proceeds will go towards the re-establishment of a permanent downtown food focused marketplace in Victoria.
