Awkward Photo Booth
The Diggit Awkward Photo Booth returns! Rebecca Carroll of Rivkah Photography will capture your awkward moment for a $5 donation. All proceeds go to the truly wonderful LifeCycles Project Society who will be on hand to provide fun, interactive ways to love your local pollinators and highlight the interdependence between our local pollinator population and food security on the south island. Come learn how much our local food loves bees, and take away lots of tools and tricks to show love to these awe inspiring insects. Dates:February 14th from 1pm – 3pm.
Seedy Saturday 2014: February 15th
A gardener’s delight! February 15th at the Victoria Conference Centre, 10 am – 4 pm, is Seedy Saturday. This annual event features local/BC seeds, nurseries, small businesses with food/garden products, community seed exchange, Master Gardeners, kids’ activities, publishers, speakers, cafe, used gardening book swap, and a school Scarecrow contest too. $7 admission at the door (kids under 16 free).
