Getting Here

On Foot:

Located in the historic former Hudson Bay building, we are in the North East of Victoria’s downtown, one block north of Victoria City Hall and one block east of the city’s historic Chinatown district. We are a short 5 minute walk from the waterfront on Store Street, and a 10 minute walk from the Empress Hotel.

By Bus:

The Victoria Public Market at the Hudson is conveniently located on the following major bus transportation routes running north/south and south/north on Douglas Street: 4, 11, 14, 21, 22, 30, 31, 50, 72, 75. Bus stops can be found directly in front of the entrance at 1701 Douglas Street. By Bike:

The Victoria Public Market at the Hudson is just a few seconds from major bike routes on Blanshard, Pandora, Johnson, and Douglas Streets. Ample bike parking can be found near both the Douglas Street entrance and the back Carriageway entrance. We hope to soon offer covered bike parking off Fisgard Street.

By Car:

The Victoria Public Market at the Hudson is located between Blanshard and Douglas Streets, Victoria’s most prominent transportation corridors, and is easily accessible by car. Public Market customers can enjoy FREE 2 hour parking on the back Carriageway, in the underground parking beneath the Hudson (accessible from Herald Street), and in the former Hudson Bay parkade located off Blanshard Street.
